Ukraine’s national archery team is opening a new season at the World Cup in Shanghai this weekend.
As part of the team, there are both Olympic and European champions, as well as promising young hopefuls.
Despite strong wind, the last training of the archers was held at the Olympic base in Koncha-Zaspa in Kyiv. Experienced coaches believed that training in more difficult conditions will help archers be ready for any weather surprises during the competition.
Korean athletes remain the world leaders in archery. For example, at the last Olympic Games in Rio, all four gold medals were won by Korean athletes.
The Ukrainian archery team will depart to Shanghai on Wednesday night.
