On the night of June 23, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck more than 60 enemy targets in occupied Crimea and other temporarily occupied territories, including air defense systems, cruise missile carriers, fuel and energy infrastructure facilities, and enemy logistics transport, UATV English informs.
This was reported by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, on Facebook, where he also published footage of the combat operation.
“The night of June 23 was fiery in Crimea. In the enemy’s operational depth, the birds of the USF made a lot of noise; more than 60 sensitive enemy targets were engaged by medium-range systems alone,” he noted.
According to Brovdi, the targets hit included three Orion reconnaissance-strike unmanned aerial vehicles, four air defense assets, an oil depot in Kerch, a gas distribution station, an electrical substation, occupiers’ logistics assets, and fuel tankers.
In particular, in the Kerch area, units of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck three Orion UAVs, which Russian troops use as carriers of guided aerial bombs and small-sized cruise missiles.
In the same area, oil storage tanks of the Kerch (Kamysh-Burun) Thermal Power Plant came under attack.
In the Baherove area, a Pantsir-S1 surface-to-air missile and gun system was struck, while near Kurortne an S-300 launcher and a ZU-23 anti-aircraft gun were hit.
Separately, USF units struck a Nebo-U radar station in the Kerch area.
The 330/110 kV West Crimea electrical substation near Kariyerne was targeted by fighters of the 427th Separate USF Brigade “Rarog” and the 413th Separate USF Regiment “Raid.”
In the Trudove area, the Simferopol gas distribution station was struck.
In addition to Crimea, USF units engaged targets in the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region and on the southern front.
In particular, the 20th Separate USF Brigade “K-2” carried out strikes on a UAV operators’ training ground of Russia’s 4th Separate Motor Rifle Brigade near Debaltseve, as well as on a fuel and lubricants tanker near Horlivka.
The 412th Separate USF Brigade Nemesis struck enemy logistics transport near Pryazovske in Zaporizhzhia region.
Occupiers’ logistics assets in Crimea, as well as in Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions, were also targeted by units of “Madyar’s Birds,” the K-2 Brigade, Nemesis, and the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces.
“Moscow will fall in Crimea. The birds of the Unmanned Systems Forces will continue to contribute,” Brovdi emphasized.
