The United States of America has called on Russia to immediately make peace with Ukraine. During a meeting of the United Nations Security Council, the United States reaffirmed its support for Ukraine in its struggle for sovereignty. UATV English reports, citing the broadcast of the UN Security Council meeting.

According to Dan Negrea, time is not on Russia’s side. The diplomat recalled the position of U.S. President Donald Trump on the need to end the war as soon as possible and also noted that the Russian army is losing about 40,000 troops killed and wounded every month. According to the U.S. representative, the war has lasted too long and must end.

“As President Trump clearly stated during last week’s G7 Summit, Russia must make a deal. Time is not on Moscow’s side. The United States is committed to securing a ceasefire and achieving, through negotiations, an agreement that will end Russia’s war against Ukraine as soon as possible. Enough! The time has come for an immediate ceasefire,” Dan Negrea emphasized.

As previously reported, according to a new report by the United Nations Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, May recorded the highest number of civilian casualties in Ukraine.
