Zelenskyy: Ukraine Working to Receive Funds from €90 Billion European Support Package in June

Ukraine is working to ensure that funding from the recently approved €90 billion European support package begins reaching the country as early as June, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during his evening addressUATV English reports.

The president stressed that the resources are needed immediately to strengthen Ukraine’s resilience, defense capabilities, and support for its people.

“It is essential that these funds start working for Ukraine now — for our resilience, our defense, and assistance to Ukrainians. And that will happen,” Zelenskyy said.

He also highlighted positive developments in Ukraine’s accession talks with the European Union, noting that recent political changes in Hungary have opened new opportunities for progress.

According to Zelenskyy, Kyiv expects to receive a clear roadmap for advancing the negotiations in the near future.

The president added that Ukrainian officials remain in daily contact with EU partners, emphasizing that every positive signal from Europe strengthens public confidence and demonstrates continued international support for Ukraine.

“Every positive piece of news from the European Union confirms that Ukraine is on the right path and that our partners stand with us,” he said.
