Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, focusing on technological cooperation in defense, artificial intelligence, and battlefield innovation. According to UATV English, the meeting was announced through the Ukrainian President’s Office.
“A good meeting with the CEO of Palantir Technologies, Alex Karp. Step by step, we are developing cooperation with the American defense sector,” Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian president described Palantir as a global company with significant technological capabilities and emphasized that both sides could strengthen not only Ukraine’s defense, but also broader transatlantic security cooperation.
“We discussed areas of technological development — both in the context of combat operations and civilian needs. We agreed that our teams will stay in touch,” Zelenskyy noted.
Mykhailo Fedorov added that discussions focused heavily on expanding partnerships in AI-driven defense technologies and battlefield data analysis.
Fedorov noted that Karp was among the first major Western tech executives to visit Kyiv after the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion in June 2022.

Since then, according to the minister, cooperation between Ukraine and Palantir has led to several important developments, including:
- creation of a detailed air attack analysis system;
- deployment of AI tools for processing large volumes of intelligence data;
- integration of advanced technologies into planning deep-strike operations.
A key area of cooperation is the Brave1 Dataroom platform, developed jointly with Palantir. According to Fedorov, the system allows Ukrainian and international developers to access real battlefield data for training artificial intelligence models.
More than 100 companies are currently using the platform to train over 80 AI models focused on detecting and intercepting aerial threats under complex combat conditions.
“Today, technology, AI, data analysis, and the mathematics of war directly influence results on the battlefield,” Fedorov said after presenting Ukraine’s battlefield technologies to the Palantir delegation.
He stressed that Ukraine’s goal is to deepen cooperation with Palantir in areas that provide technological advantages on the battlefield.
Palantir is considered one of the world’s leading companies in data analytics and AI solutions for defense and security. Its technologies are widely used by NATO militaries, intelligence agencies, and governments for operational planning, battlefield management, and intelligence analysis.
Fedorov also noted that Palantir is among the ten largest U.S. technology companies by market capitalization, currently valued at approximately $330 billion.
Earlier reports indicated that Russian propaganda channels intensified disinformation campaigns targeting Palantir, falsely claiming that the company was allegedly developing nuclear or biological weapons for Ukraine.
