UATV English reports that U.S. manufacturers are prepared to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles, pending a positive decision from President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a briefing.
“We are working on this with our partners — primarily with the United States, with the White House and the President. Separately, we are working with the manufacturers. Such a decision would be additional pressure on Russia, and it is important for us. President Trump did not say ‘no,’ and various institutions have given us positive signals. But of course, the final decision lies with the U.S. President,” Zelenskyy stated.
He emphasized that manufacturers are ready to act immediately once approval is given.
“We discussed this with the producers. If President Trump sends a positive signal, they will gladly deliver or sell the necessary systems,” Zelenskyy said.
The President added that talks with the U.S. also include other long-range systems.
“We are interested in a package of different solutions — a deterrence package against Russian aggression and the right response to strikes on our civilian infrastructure, especially energy. We are working on this, and there is definitely a chance we will receive these systems,” he noted.
