No one wants peace more than Ukraine, – Trump in his speech to the U.S. Congress

Trump, in his speech before the U.S. Congress, stated that he received a letter from Zelenskyy regarding Ukraine’s readiness to sit at the negotiating table for peace.

The U.S. President declared that “it is time to stop this endless war.”

“If you want to stop the war, you need to negotiate with both sides,” he added.

Donald Trump quoted Zelenskyy that no one wants peace more than Ukraine.

More points from the US President’s speech:

• Ukraine is ready to sign an agreement on mineral resources and wants to sit down at the negotiating table as soon as possible.
• Europe has spent more money on Russian oil and gas than on Ukraine’s defense.
• We may have spent $350 billion on Ukraine’s defense, while Europe has spent $100 billion. But we are separated by an ocean, and they don’t have one.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy reported that the war bill is $320 billion. 120 – Ukraine, 100 – Europe and other partners, 100 – the USA. Not 500, not 300, and not 700.

• Trump also once again criticized Joe Biden’s policies, promised to regain control over prices in the country, and noted the achievements of Elon Musk and DOGE.
• During the speech, the US President again spoke about the state’s immigration policy and called for strengthening law and order.
• “I have announced a freeze on all international aid,” Trump said.

• Trump announced plans to build a gas pipeline in Alaska and mine rare earth metals in the US.
