Over the past week, the Russian forces made seven attempts to storm the Ukrainian positions on the Dnipro river left bank in Kherson region.

According to Ukrinform, Lieutenant Pavel Drohal, Spokesperson for the Kherson Operational Tactical Grouping, reported this during a briefing.

“Starting February 24 to March 2, 2025, the Russian invaders carried out 453 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian defenders and civilian infrastructure. In addition, the Russian aggressors launched six airstrikes,” Drohal informed.

He emphasized that the enemy had not stopped attempting to push the Ukrainian defenders from their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River. According to the Spokesperson, last week the invaders tried to storm the Ukrainian positions seven times, but all these attempts were repelled.

Drohal reported that during this period, Russian losses amounted to 133 killed and wounded, with 68 units of weaponry and military equipment destroyed.

As reported, the Ukrainian forces continue to hold positions on the Dnipro left bank.

In the fall of 2022, the Ukrainian military liberated the right-bank part of the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. The part of the region located on the left bank of the Dnpro is temporarily occupied by the Russian forces.
