U.S. Prioritizes Countering Russian Aggression and Supporting Ukraine – Austin

The United States considers uniting the international coalition in support of Ukraine a key task, with countering Russian aggression remaining a top priority.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin made this statement during the Reagan National Defense Forum. He stressed the importance of upholding American values and strengthening the coalition to aid Ukraine in its fight for freedom.

Austin reaffirmed that Ukraine remains a priority for the U.S., emphasizing that cooperation among allies and partners is a critical element of this support.

Earlier, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer emphasized that supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russia is in Britain’s national interest.
