President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian long-range strikes have hit Russia’s Dubna space communications center in the Moscow region for the second time, UATV English reports.

“Today, our long-range sanctions against Russia for this war once again reached the Dubna space communications center in the Moscow region. It is a key satellite communications facility used, among other things, for intelligence gathering and coordinating the activities of Russia’s occupation forces in Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said.

He noted that the facility is located more than 500 kilometers from Ukraine’s state border.

The president recalled that Ukrainian Defense Forces had previously struck four similar Russian space communications centers in both the Moscow and Vladimir regions.

“We are systematically implementing our plan of long-range sanctions and making it as difficult as possible for the aggressor state to conduct offensive operations against Ukraine and occupy our territories. Similar actions against other such enemy facilities are also being prepared,” Zelenskyy said.

He thanked Ukrainian service members for the successful strike.

Earlier, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that a previous strike on the Dubna facility on June 22 damaged the MARK-IV 32-meter satellite communications antenna complex, a nearby technical building, and the main command and control building housing Russia’s satellite communications network control systems.

The Dubna facility is the largest ground-based satellite communications complex in Russia and is used by the Russian military for satellite communications, intelligence, and command and control operations.
