The Pentagon has claimed that the United States have no intentions to abandon NATO allies after Russia threatened Polish security with its missile.

This was stated by Sabrina Singh, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary on March 26.

“What I can tell you is that what this administration has claimed repeatedly, we will defend every inch of NATO. If a NATO ally is attacked, we certainly don’t want to see that, we will defend every inch of NATO,” stated Sabrina Singh.

She then added that now the US sees making sure that Ukraine has what it needs on the battlefield as a top priority.

“As you know, we pushed out an emergency presidential drawdown authority a few weeks ago to give Ukraine an urgent need of security assistance. We are hopeful that Congress will pass a supplemental. Congress did just pass a FY24 budget, so we’re hoping that we can also pass the Ukraine supplemental that we need in order to continue to arm Ukraine with what it needs on the battlefield,” the Pentagon official said.

On March 24, during an air attack on Ukraine, Russia violated Polish airspace, a Russian missile X-10 entered it for 39 seconds. Poland saw no need to shoot down the missile which left the Polish airspace.
