On June 3, 2025, a Ukrainian government delegation — including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliia Svyrydenko and Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak — arrived in the United States for a series of high-level meetings.
Yermak announced the visit via his Telegram channel, noting that the delegation also includes representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the Presidential Office.
“We are here to actively promote key issues for Ukraine. Our agenda is quite comprehensive,” Yermak stated. “We plan to discuss defense assistance, the battlefield situation, and tightening sanctions against Russia — including Senator Graham’s proposed bill. We will also review the previously signed agreement on the creation of the Investment Recovery Fund.”
Another key topic will be the forced deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia, and efforts to support their return.
The delegation also intends to raise concerns about Russian propaganda, particularly its use of religious narratives to spread disinformation.
“There will be numerous meetings with bipartisan lawmakers who support Ukraine, as well as with President Donald Trump’s team,” Yermak added. “We will brief them on the recent talks in Istanbul and explain how Russia continues to delay a ceasefire and peace negotiations — simply to prolong the war.”
