Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said that Russian troops near the border with Ukraine were not enough to launch a full-scale invasion.

This was reported by UA with reference to the publication “Nastoyaschee Vremya“.

“We do not see a large concentration of Russian troops. There are some movements of troops, but for us it is not critical. A full-scale invasion requires at least three, four, five times – much more than today” – Danilov said.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that the threat from Russia still exists.

“Of course, there is a constant threat to us, we have been living with this threat for seven years, and it is not news to us that Russian troops are in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. It is they who are waging war against our country. If they were not there, the issue of Donetsk and Luhansk regions would have been closed long ago” – he said.

Danilov also said that the greatest danger concerns areas in the Mariupol, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

We will remind, Oleksiy Danilov declared that the president of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin aspires to break up Ukraine into parts.
