Ukraine is confidently moving towards joining the European Union and has fulfilled most of the requirements during the war. Political scientist Igor Reiterovich spoke about this on the FREEDOM TV channel.

“Ukraine will become a member of the European Union when it fulfills all the necessary preconditions, and most of these conditions have already been met. Ukraine carried out and carried out the reforms that needed to be carried out quite a long time ago,” he said.

The political scientist noted that the requirements for states that had previously joined the union were softer, but despite this, Ukraine confidently fulfills them.

“The requirements for countries that previously joined the European Union were much softer. This is due to both subjective and objective reasons. But despite all these difficulties, Ukraine is moving quite confidently towards the European Union. I am sure: if not for the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, as of today Ukraine would have fulfilled almost all of its obligations and could talk about integration at the economic level,” he concluded.
