The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Darkhan Kaletaev believes that the Kazakh authorities will be able to regain full control over the situation in the country within 2-3 days.

It is reported by UA with reference to “Ukraine-24“.

“It’s very hard to see such footage from your hometown (Almaty, – ed.). But I think that within two, maximum three days, the whole situation will be completely under control in all regions, ”the ambassador said. According to him, there is still no exact information on the number of dead protesters. It is known that 13 law enforcement officers were killed.

About 200 people went to hospitals. Darkhan Kaletayev predicts that the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will send at least 3,000 troops to Kazakhstan.

To remind, on January 2, protests erupted in Kazakhstan against a 2-2.5-fold increase in the price of liquefied gas to 120 tenge (USD 0.28). Then thousands of people went to rallies, in particular, in the largest cities of Zhanaozen and Aktau. Demonstrators announced an indefinite action.
