On the night of today, July 6, Russian troops once again attacked Kyiv. At the moment, there are more than 40 injured people in the capital as a result of the shelling. Fourteen of them have been hospitalized. Among the injured are five children. Eleven people were killed. This is reported by UATV English with reference to data from the city authorities.
According to the State Emergency Service, in the Podilskyi district, there was a hit on a residential two-section building with subsequent destruction from the 9th to the 5th floors. Seventeen people were brought out into the fresh air, and 28 were rescued from the upper floors. The rescue operation continues.
At other addresses, the roof cladding of a building and an elevator shaft on the roof caught fire. There was partial destruction on the roof of a 19-story building, cars are burning in the courtyard of a residential building, and debris was also recorded falling at the level of the 16th floor of a 25-story residential building.

In addition, the search for injured people continues in a 21-story residential building, where destruction occurred from the 2nd to the 5th floors.
In the Darnytskyi district, on the territory of a residential complex, debris fell at the level of the fourth floor in one of the 25-story buildings, and in another one there was a fire in apartments covering an area of 150 square meters. A fire is also reported in a neighboring garage cooperative.

At another address, as a result of debris hitting a 30-story residential building, a fire broke out from the 23rd to the 25th floors.
In the Holosiivskyi district, according to preliminary data, a non-residential building is burning because of the Russian attack.
Work to rescue people continues.



The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down 363 out of 419 targets: 37 missiles and 326 enemy UAVs.
Hits by 29 ballistic/anti-ship missiles and 18 drones were recorded at 34 locations, debris fell at 16 points.
