Wishing you good health!

I just held a meeting with the Minister of Defense, and there were also reports from the military today. Just over the past night, the Russians used more than a hundred attack drones and 23 missiles of various types, including ballistic ones, against Ukraine. And every night, every day – such a threat against life in Ukraine. We need strengthening of our air defense – this is an objective reality – and all agreements that were reached with partners but not implemented need to be activated to the maximum. The “Patriots” that are simply sitting somewhere in storage at our partners’ must actually protect lives. Also, in both Europe and America, it is worth significantly increasing production of air defense systems and missiles for them. We in Ukraine can ensure such production and need appropriate political decisions. Localization of production, appropriate licenses – this is what will help not only us, but everyone – all partners who want security and not war. We’ve already talked to everyone about this, we already have understanding that it is absolutely possible, and every Russian strike is a reminder to partners: it is necessary to finally do what was agreed upon. I instructed the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Foreign Affairs to activate contacts with partners on this issue. A meeting in the context of “Ramstein” is being prepared. There are two main tasks for today: namely air defense, namely “Patriots”, and the second task is contingents, the closest possible coordination of all decisions, elaboration of all details. I also instructed to work on a bilateral basis regarding air defense, and especially – with the United States of America, which has sufficient potential to help stop any terror. A corresponding desire and appropriate decisions are needed to protect as many lives as possible from Russian ballistic attacks. Also, strengthening our air shield will simultaneously be a strengthening of all diplomacy.

In today’s Russian strike there were missiles that were launched from the waters of the Black Sea. Partners know which vessels they were and from which part of the sea the launch took place. This is one of the reasons why Russia distorts diplomacy, why Russia does not go for an unconditional ceasefire – they want to keep for themselves the possibility to strike from the waters of the sea at our cities, at our ports. Ceasefire at sea is not only about free navigation and the supply of food by sea, it is above all about overall security and about bringing peace closer. Putin does not want to end the war – he is looking for ways to retain the ability to ignite war at any moment with even greater force. That is why all forms of pressure on Russia remain necessary: strengthening our ability to defend, maintaining sanctions, and such diplomacy, such communication with Moscow that leaves them no opportunity to kill. If ceasefire – then unconditional and such that completely prevents destruction of life. Ukraine agreed to the proposal from America, the proposal of a full, unconditional ceasefire. Putin refuses. We await the response of the United States – it is still not there – we await the reaction of everyone in Europe, everyone in the world who wants peace.

Every day – ballistics from the Russian army, every day – killings of people. Constant strikes on our Sumy region, Kharkiv region, Dnipro region, Kherson region, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk region, and other regions of ours. Today – Russian ballistics against Kyiv. Every day – lives lost. Every day – opportunities for diplomacy lost. All of this cannot be accepted in silence.

This week we have decisions on additional support from the Netherlands – 500 million euros for drone production in Ukraine and 2 billion euros to support our resilience this year. Thank you! Sweden – thank you for a military aid package of 1.6 billion dollars. This includes air defense, artillery, communication, and other absolutely necessary things. Latvia – I want to thank you for delivering drones for our army. Germany – thank you for the important systemic decision on support for this year, the support has been increased to 7 billion euros this year. Denmark – there is a new decision for support of almost 1 billion euros, and this includes specific contributions to our domestic weapons production. Everyone who is with Ukraine now – all are protecting lives. I thank you for your support! I thank our warriors, all Ukrainians who care for our state and our people!

Glory to Ukraine!
