Rustem Umerov suggested creating an international working group at the level of Ministers of Defence and National Security Advisors to jointly work out a mechanism for the withdrawal of troops.
During the fourth meeting of national security advisers on the Ukrainian Peace Formula in Davos, Ukraine’s Defense Minister Rustem Umerov presented the 6th point of the Peace Formula “Withdrawal of russian troops from the territory of Ukraine.”
“It’s impossible to talk about restoring the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine without the complete withdrawal and disarmament of russian troops and terrorist organizations from the temporarily occupied territories,” stated Umerov on his Facebook after the meeting.
Umerov also added that The Ukrainian Peace Formula, proposed by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, already unites 83 countries around the world. And 39 European countries, 18 Asian countries, 12 African countries, 6 South American countries, 3 North American countries, and 2 Oceania countries delegated their representatives to Davos.
Andrii Yermak, Chief of the Ukrainian President’s Office, opened the meeting by describing the aftermath of Russia’s recent missile attacks on Ukrainian cities and civilian infrastructure.
Previous meetings on the Peace Formula were held in Copenhagen, Jeddah and Malta last year.
