More than 90% of the Ukrainian military are vaccinated with two doses of COVID-19 vaccine and more than 97% with one.
This was reported by UA with reference to the briefing of the Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine for Digital Development Maria Karchevych.
“Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of November 25, 236 thousand people have received one dose of immunization from COVID-19, and another 220 thousand people have received a full course of vaccination. In terms of percentage, these figures cover almost all personnel. More than 90% of the military are vaccinated with two doses of the vaccine and more than 97% with one” – Karchevych said.
She also noted that this is one of the highest rates of vaccinated among the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
The deputy minister also said that as of today, 22 of the 23 health care facilities under the Ministry of Defense have successfully registered in the electronic health care system. Healthcare professionals began entering data on each vaccination from COVID-19 into the system.
“This means that servicemen who previously received only paper documents on vaccination will be able to download digital ones as well. More than half of the civil servants, employees and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already received COVID-certificates. Soldiers in the service can download the document to both their phone and computer. To get it, you only need to follow the instructions posted in the application or on the portal “Diia” – said Karchevych.
To remind, last days in Ukraine 273 875 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. 81,516 people received one dose, 192,359 were fully immunized.
