Soldiers of 93rd ‘Kholodnyi Yar’ Brigade to Deploy to Germany

Separate tactical unit of the 93rd Independent Mechanized ‘Kholodnyi Yar’ Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces will deploy to training grounds near Hohenfels, Germany, where they will participate in the Combined Resolve military exercises, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.

The formation based on members of the mechanized battalion year after year passed through combat in the JFO area with flying colors. Many of them are experienced in unique operations, such as the defense of Donetsk Airport, battles at the Bakhmut route and near Dokuchaivsk and defense of Avdiivka. This will be the first time when members of the battalion participate in the Combined Resolve exercises.

The press release also noted that members of the battalion have already passed training with American rangers and with the British military during operation ORBITAL.

Combined Resolve is multinational military drill, carried out in the training centers in Hohenfels and Grafenwöhr, Germany. The drill is held twice a year and aimed to preserve and increase the operational and rotational capabilities during joint ground operations.
