Swimmer Anna Stetsenko won the third Gold for Ukraine

On Friday, August 27, Ukrainian Anna Stetsenko won a gold medal in the 400m freestyle swimming.

The Ukrainian swam the distance in 4 minutes 23.92 seconds, bypassing the Italian athlete Carlotta Gilli and Australian Katya Dedekind, who won silver and bronze medals respectively.

In addition to the 400-meter freestyle, Stetsenko will also compete for medals in the 50-meter freestyle, 100-meter backstroke and 200-meter backstroke swimming at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.

To remind, today powerlifter Maryana Shevchuk won a gold medal, Yulia Pavlenko became the third in the long jump, Vladislav Bilyi won the silver medal in javelin throwing.
