Ukraine welcomes the diplomatic end of the war in Gaza and hopes that the decisive actions of its partners will also help bring an end to the war in Ukraine.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“When peace is achieved for one part of the world, it gives more hope for peace in other regions where lives are still under threat. In Ukraine, we welcome all the efforts that have led to today’s outcome for the Middle East. The hostages have been freed, and the war in Gaza is coming to an end. This is truly an extraordinary event,” the head of state noted.

He also expressed confidence that the leadership and determination of President Donald Trump have proven effective.

“And it is important that there was all the necessary assistance from countries and many people who have real influence. We are working so that the day of peace will also come for Ukraine,” Zelenskyy added.

The President emphasized that Russian aggression remains the last global source of destabilization.

“If it was possible to achieve a ceasefire and peace for the Middle East, then the leadership and determination of global actors can certainly work for us in Ukraine and in Europe as well. And it is possible. Terror always loses when global unity is strong enough. I thank everyone who helps peace!” he concluded.

Earlier, Zelenskyy stressed that Putin can be forced to make peace, just like any other terrorist.

This was said by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a speech at the 71st annual session of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

We see that the war in the Middle East is finally ending — after so many casualties a real chance for peace has emerged.

Russia’s war in Europe remains the largest source of global instability. Whether this war ends as well depends on all of you.

Even Hamas released hostages. And if that was possible, then Putin can also be forced to restore peace.

By stopping Russia now, you will not only help us protect our lives — you will help yourselves. And you will spare your leaders the need to do what I do: appeal to the world for help if Russian drones, missiles, and soldiers become a threat to you. Russia must lose, the President of Ukraine emphasized.
