Zelenskyy on Meeting with Trump: We Discussed How to Achieve a Ceasefire and True Peace

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described his talks with U.S. President Donald Trump as “lengthy and meaningful.”

“A long and substantive meeting with President Trump. We covered all truly important issues. I thank the President and the United States,” Zelenskyy stated.

“We discussed how to achieve a ceasefire and a genuine peace. We talked about how to protect our people. We appreciate the attention and willingness to help bring peace closer,” he added.

Zelenskyy noted that more detailed information about the talks with Trump would be released later:
“Details — to come,” the President said.
