Ukrainian naval drones have completely disabled the mooring device of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) Marine Terminal in Novorossiysk, forcing a suspension of oil shipments, UATV English reports.

According to the CPC press service, the CPC VPU-2 remote mooring unit was severely damaged in the morning attack and cannot be restored.

The captain of the Novorossiysk seaport ordered all cargo operations suspended, while tankers were redirected outside CPC waters. The company reported no injuries among personnel or contractors.
Emergency safety systems automatically shut down the pipelines at the moment of the explosion, preventing any oil leak into the Black Sea.

The CPC confirmed that further operation of VPU-2 is impossible. Oil shipments from the terminal will resume only after threats from naval drones and UAVs are eliminated.
