Ukraine vaccinated children against coronavirus for the first time

In Ukraine’s Chernivtsi region, 4 children older than 12 were vaccinated against coronavirus. They were immunized with the Comirnaty vaccine by Pfizer-BioNTech.

According to Oksana Znak, the vaccination coordinator in Bukovina, the girl from Chernivtsi got the first Comirnaty vaccine in order to cross the border to study. Children were also vaccinated at the Hlyboka Health Care Center.

No one has yet been vaccinated at the children’s vaccination center, which was opened in the city children’s clinic. The medical facility is waiting for a vaccine.

On August 3, 984 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine, 572 people were hospitalized.
