Ukraine has introduced a new package of sanctions targeting 36 Russian companies and 18 individuals, according to Presidential Decrees No. 819/2025 and No. 820/2025, published on the President’s official website, UATV English reports.

The decrees enact the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated 6 November 2025 on applying personal special economic and other restrictive measures.

The new restrictions cover a wide range of Russian entities and individuals. The measures include:

  • blocking of assets,
  • revocation of state awards,
  • restrictions on trade operations,
  • preventing capital withdrawal,
  • suspension of economic and financial obligations involving sanctioned persons.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had signed several new sanctions decisions designed to synchronize Ukraine’s restrictions with European measures, as well as targeted sanctions against Russian companies operating in the Arctic region.
He also pledged a response to Russia’s recent sanctions imposed on Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.

These actions come as part of Ukraine’s broader strategy to increase economic pressure on Russia and disrupt funding streams that support its military aggression.
