The Office of the President of Ukraine has refuted Tucker Carlson’s statement saying he had secured an interview with Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s spokesperson Sergii Nykyforov wrote this on Facebook.
“Mr. Tucker Carlson should verify his sources at the FSB more carefully. The President of Ukraine has a totally different schedule, and it doesn’t include Tucker Carlson,” Nykyforov pointed out.
Earlier, Tucker Carlson hastened to announce the interview with the President of Ukraine on X.
“Looks like we’ve got the Zelenskyy interview. We’ve been trying for two years, and with particular intensity after interviewing Putin in February. The point is to bring Americans much-needed information about the conflict that’s completely reshaping their country’s position in the world. Coming soon we hope,” Carlson announced.
In February, the former Fox News journalist conducted an interview with Vladimir Putin in Russia, using his trip there as a chance to spread Russian propaganda.
