The parties praised the implementation of the agreements reached during the visit of the President of Ukraine to Germany in May this year.

The Head of State emphasized Germany’s role in bolstering Ukraine’s air defense, in particular by providing IRIS-T systems manufactured in Germany and Patriot systems.

The parties discussed key priorities for further defense support of Ukraine by Germany, taking into account the needs of Ukrainian defenders on the frontline.

Special attention was paid to the issues of uniting international efforts around the Ukrainian Peace Formula and Ukraine’s integration into the European Union and NATO.

During the conversation with Ambassador of Indonesia Arief Muhammad Basalamah, the Head of State expressed gratitude for the support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which was evidenced by the visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to our country in June 2022.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted the importance of Ukraine’s participation in the G19 Summit last November at the invitation of the President of Indonesia, where the Head of State presented the comprehensive Peace Formula initiated by him. He thanked Indonesia for the participation of its representative in the consultations of diplomatic advisors on the implementation of the Peace Formula in Jeddah.

The President emphasized the need to enhance the entire scope of bilateral relations. Volodymyr Zelenskyy also focused on the issue of global food security, emphasizing the inadmissibility of Russian blackmail of the world with hunger, the negative consequences of which are also felt by Indonesia.

During the conversation with Ambassador of Sweden Martin Öberg, the Head of State praised the effective solidarity of this country with Ukraine.

“We are extremely grateful to Sweden, to your society. You really help Ukraine a lot. Thank you for the 13th package of defense assistance for our country,” he emphasized.

The Head of State also expressed gratitude for the recent adoption by the Swedish Government of the strategy for recovery and reform cooperation with Ukraine for 2023–2027.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that Sweden would support the decision to launch negotiations on Ukraine’s membership in the EU this year and thanked the official Stockholm for joining the G7 Joint Declaration of Support for Ukraine adopted in Vilnius.
