Anti-tank artillery and engineering units engaged in combat service on the administrative line with the occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea are training in the south of the country.
UA reports this with reference to the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Several units simultaneously worked out educational tasks in close cooperation.
According to the legend of the exercises, the troops had to fight together to repel an attempt to break the administrative border by enemy armored vehicles in the tank-dangerous direction.
“Within minutes, they took up certain positions, deployed artillery installations and began installing mine barriers” – said Lieutenant General Sergii Naiev.
According to him, it was difficult, but the military worked in a regular mode, calmly and confidently, as in a combat situation.
“Tasks are performed clearly, confidently and coherently. It is obvious that in combat conditions they will act just as effectively and will cover dangerous areas from the real enemy attack” – Naiev said.
Earlier, Ukraine and Estonia discussed cooperation in the field of border protection.
