Ukraine and Canada will work closely to obtain from Iran an adequate compensation for the relatives of the victims of the UIA plane crash.
This was announced by the Canadian Foreign Ministry after a meeting between Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and his Canadian counterpart Mark Well, Ukrinform reports.
The meeting took place in Vilnius during the Ukraine Reform Conference.
“During the bilateral meeting, the ministers reaffirmed their commitment to work together in order to find justice, transparency and compensation for the relatives of the victims of the UIA plane crash in January 2020” – the statement said.
Kuleba also reported about the upcoming summit of the “Crimean Platform”.
Earlier, Ukraine joined the statement of the UK, Canada and Sweden on Iran’s shooting down of flight PS752.
