Ukrainian citizen Gennady Limeshko, illegally convicted by the Russian Federation, was vaccinated against COVID-19 against his will with a vaccine that is not recognized by WHO.

This was announced on Facebook by the parliamentary commissioner for human rights Liudmila Denisova, UA reports.

“Employees of the correctional colony PKU IK-6 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Stavropol Krai, where Gennady is being held, threatening to place him in a punishment cell and ban communication with relatives, forced him to sign a consent” – she writes.

After vaccination Limeshko’s health condition deteriorated rapidly. He suffered from tachycardia and severe headache.

“The administration of the institution denied Gennady medical assistance, which is a flagrant violation of article 3 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, which equals to torture and inhumane treatment, and article 22 of the Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners, approved by the UN Economic and Social Council” – Liudmila Denisova writes.

She appeals to the Ombudsman for Human Rights of the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova with a demand to urgently provide Gennady Limeshko with necessary medical assistance.

Earlier in Russia, four Crimean Tatars were sentenced to long terms.
