German defense firm Hensoldt AG has received a contract to deliver high-tech radar systems to Ukraine worth €340 million.
The systems include TRML-4D and SPEXER 2000 3D MkIII radars, which will bolster Ukraine’s air defense capabilities.

“Our high-performance radars are urgently needed by Ukraine’s air defense,” said Hensoldt CEO Oliver Dörre.
“We are proud to supply systems that are essential for protecting civilians,” he added.

The TRML-4D radar, based on cutting-edge AESA technology, can detect and track up to 1,500 targets within a 250 km radius. It is capable of identifying cruise missiles, drones, helicopters, and aircraft with speed and precision.

🔍 SPEXER 2000 modules, part of Rheinmetall’s Skyranger 30 air defense system, are designed for the automatic detection and classification of ground, naval, and low-flying air targets.

Both radar types are also components of Germany’s “Short and Very Short Range Air Defense System” (NNbS), recently ordered by the German military.
