The number of women in ministerial positions and high positions in the Office of the President is more than before. These indicators are constantly growing.
This was stated by the wife of the President, Olena Zelenska, during a speech at the V Ukrainian Women’s Congress, UA reports with the reference to Ukrinform.
“The number of women ministers, the number of women in senior positions in the Office of the President is much more than before, it is constantly growing and will continue to grow” – she said.
The first lady considers it a big mistake to say that women are appreciated in Ukrainian society because of pressure.
“Valuables do not need to prove their worth, it is obvious. Pressure is needed for those who are not confident in their abilities. Dialogue is enough for confident people” – Zelenska is convinced.
She added that Ukrainian women confidently confirm the effectiveness of dialogue in the development of a full-fledged Ukrainian society. The president’s wife also recalled that a gender audit has started in the Ukrainian education system. “It is important that there will no longer be drawings in the books where mom is constantly washing the floor, and dad always comes back from work” – the first lady said.
