The Presidents of Ukraine and Lithuania, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Gitanas Nauseda, had a telephone conversation.
This was reported by UA with reference to Twitter of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The heads of states discussed the difficult situation on the EU’s border with Belarus.
“I assured that Ukraine will adequately respond to the development of the situation on our borders” – Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote.
The interlocutors also agreed to coordinate measures to preserve the freedom of movement of citizens of Ukraine and Lithuania in a pandemic.
Earlier it was reported that Heads of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and State Border Guard Service flew to Volyn – will check readiness to protect the border from migrants.
