200 km from Kyiv: Russian troops and equipment arrive in Belarus

Troops and equipment of the Russian Federation arrive in the regions of Belarus near the border with Ukraine. In particular, the Russian Uragan multiple launch rocket systems were found in the immediate vicinity of the border with Kyiv region. Their location was confirmed by experts from a group that investigates military conflicts.

This was reported by UA.

Equipment camps are located on the territory of Belarus in the Gomel region – just 200 km from Kyiv, on the western bank of the Dnipro. At the same time, it is reported that in this area there is not a single training ground declared as part of the joint Russian-Belarusian exercises “Allied Resolve”.

The appearance of Russian equipment in the immediate vicinity of the border with the Kyiv region raises concerns, according to investigators, in connection with statements by CNN sources, according to which there is a possibility that Russian troops may try to attack Ukraine from the north.

“The fact is that all the main government buildings in Kyiv are located on the western bank of the Dnipro, and a possible offensive from the north makes it possible not to overcome such a significant water barrier (unlike the offensive from the Russian-Ukrainian border)” – the investigation team said in a publication of Conflict Intelligence Team in Telegram.

To remind, Andriy Yermak, head of the Presidential Office, said that the Ukrainian authorities are doing everything necessary to ensure that our country and the Armed Forces are ready for any scenario.
