70-year-old Ukrainian tourist drowned in the Golem resort of Albania on August 24.

UA reports this with reference to the Albanian Daily News.

According to the report, other vacationers pulled the victim out of water and tried to help, but could not save him. There is a shortage of lifeguards in Albanian resorts, so first aid is most often provided by vacationers.

This is the fourth accident over the past few days in the resorts of Albania. Earlier, a couple from North Macedonia drowned at a resort in Spille on Sunday, and a 59-year-old man from Kosovo died in Velipojë.

To remind, since the beginning of August 120 people, including 10 children, drowned in Ukrainian water reservoirs.
