The Verkhovna Rada adopted in the first reading the draft law “On Amendments to Annexes №1 and №3 to the Law of Ukraine“ On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2021” respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by coronavirus SARS-CoV-2)”.
This is reported by UA with reference to Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The bill proposes to allocate UAH 3 billion from the state budget for 2021 to support citizens in connection with the introduction of restrictive anti-epidemic measures.
“The purpose of the bill is to provide social support to insured persons in connection with the introduction of restrictive anti-epidemic measures in some regions, which led to the temporary suspension of economic entities, as well as incentives for businesses and employees to vaccinate” – the message said.
To remind, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that all vaccinated Ukrainians will receive one thousand hryvnias. This money will be used to buy a gym membership, buy tickets to museums or exhibitions, as well as travel around the country. The possibility of expanding the list of expenditures is also being discussed.
