At the initiative of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, electricity tariffs for households consuming less than 250 kWh will be reduced to UAH 1.44 per kW (from the current UAH 1.68).
This was announced in Telegram by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, UA reports.
At the same time, for those Ukrainian families who consume more than 250 kWh per month, the tariffs remain unchanged.
The new rules will take effect on October 1.
To remind, at the meeting the government extended the adaptive quarantine in Ukraine until October 1.
