Tomorrow, January 27, a hearing on the threat of a new Russian invasion will be held in the German Bundestag in Ukraine.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Germany Andriy Melnyk wrote about this on Twitter, UA informs.

The hearings were initiated by the Ukrainian Embassy in Germany due to Germany’s refusal to provide military assistance to Ukraine.

“On Thursday, January 27, the new parliamentary hearings initiated by us will take place in the German Bundestag. “Ensuring peace in Europe: Ukraine’s territorial integrity cannot be questioned.” Berlin must finally act decisively to avoid another Russian invasion! ”The diplomat wrote.

On January 24, the Committee on Ukraine’s EU Integration and the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Interparliamentary Cooperation addressed a joint letter to the Bundestag urging German deputies to reconsider Germany’s policy towards Ukraine against the background of the Russian threat.

To remind, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok said that now it is important to prevent further escalation of the situation around Ukraine, while avoiding questions about the possibility of supplying defense weapons to Kyiv.
