The G7 calls for the election of the head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office to be completed

The ambassadors of the Group of Seven countries called on the commission electing the new head of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office to complete the process without delay.

This is stated on Twitter of the British presidency in the group of G7 ambassadors, writes UA.

“The G7 ambassadors call on the commission electing the new Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor to complete its important function and to complete the process of electing a new head of the SAP in full transparency without further delay” – the statement said.

It is also noted that independent anti-corruption institutions, including an independent specialized anti-corruption prosecutor, remain crucial for the country’s resilience and prosperity, as well as for reducing the oligarchs’ detrimental influence on Ukraine’s economy and politics.
