The Government has approved a Strategy for the Integration of Internally Displaced Persons. The purpose of the document is to create conditions for the integration of internally displaced persons into the territorial communities that receive them.

This was reported by UA with reference to a statement by prime minister Denys Shmyhal.

In particular, it goes about ensuring full access to administrative, social and other services, as well as creating conditions for the development of the potential of IDPs in their new place of residence.

Today there are more than 1 million 400 thousand internally displaced persons in Ukraine, so the implementation of a clear action plan is extremely important.

To remind, the regions will receive a subvention to support internally displaced persons in need of assistance in obtaining temporary housing.
