Starting today, citizens of Ukraine who have received a full course of vaccination with one of the vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen) having a vaccination certificate and a negative coronavirus test can enter Italy without self-isolation.
UA reports this with reference to the Italian Foreign Ministry.
The relevant regulations for category D countries, to which Ukraine belongs, are determined by the order of the Minister of Health of Italy of August 28, 2021.
One must now provide the following to enter:
- vaccination certificate issued by the competent health authority or EU Green Pass (a similar European document);
- a negative molecular or antigenic test for coronavirus made no later than 72 hours before arrival;
- one should fill in the form of sanitary control online or printed offline (only for those who do not have electronic devices);
- Travelers who do not present vaccination certificates will have to undergo 5-days-long self-isolation and take PCR or a rapid test at the end of this period.
These conditions will be valid until October 25, 2021. Changes have already been made to the results obtained by Ukrainians in the official questionnaire to determine the conditions of entry into Italy.
To remind, the European Union has recognized that the Ukrainian COVID certificates in the “Diia” application correspond to the European ones.
