Russia plans to hold joint military exercises with Belarus in February called “Allied Resoluteness-2022”.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, military units of the Russian Federation are already arriving in the country, UA informs.
Joint exercises on the territory of Belarus will be held from 10 to 20 February. It is reported that it is planned to involve part of the forces and means of the Armed Forces of the Republic, as well as military command and control bodies, a number of military units and subdivisions of the Eastern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, in the exercises.
After their completion, preparations for a new exercise will begin – called “Union Shield-2023”. They will pass through Russia.
The February exercises in Belarus were announced the day before by Alexander Lukashenko.
To remind, Czech special forces team will take part in the Silver Saber exercise in Ukraine together with local elite units.
