Next – mobile communications across the front line in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, have been restored. The OSCE’s Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine announced this news on Twitter earlier this weekend. Observers from the organization helped Vodafone Ukraine finish off technical repairs. It’s believed Vodafone is the only mobile operator which continues to work in occupied Donbas – providing a lifeline to many people living in towns and villages along the de-facto border.
