Maksym Krypak won 5th gold and became the most successful Paralympian in Ukraine

Ukrainian Maksym Krypak won 5th gold at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo. This medal is the 15th in the athlete’s career.

According to the report, Krypak received “gold” at a distance of 200 meters in complex swimming in the SM10 class. The Ukrainian showed the result 2:05.68 and broke the Paralympic record of the Ukrainian Denys Dubrov. Italian Stefano Raimondi got silver – 2:07.68; “Bronze” – Dutchman Bas Takken – 2:11.39.

26-year-old Maksym Krypak competes in the S10 Paralympic category, which includes athletes with minimal damage to the body that affects the functioning of the legs.

To remind, Krypak won the final 100-meter backstroke on September 2 and set a world record.
