British Prime Minister Boris Johnson may visit Ukraine next year. The parties are actively working upon this both in Kyiv and London.
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced this on Facebook, UA reports.
According to him, Ukraine is one of the closest allies of the United Kingdom.
‘I can confirm that the UK is also one of the main allies of Ukraine’ – Kuleba said.
The minister noted that a special chemistry arose between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Boris Johnson, thanks to this and ‘the wheels of state machines spun faster both in Ukraine and in Britain’.
‘We are moving forward, we are working on a visit of Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Ukraine next year’ – Kuleba added.
Earlier it was reported that the UK will allocate an additional 1 billion pounds sterling in support of Ukraine.
To remind, speaking at a banquet at the Lord Mayor of London, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson said that European countries must choose between dependence on Russian gas and protection of Ukraine.
