JFO HQ: Power Supply in Luhanske Restored

Ukrainian technicians repaired a power line, restoring the supply of electricity to the houses in the village of Luhanske, Donetsk region (non-government controlled), the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.

“The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire and Stabilization of the demarcation line of the parties, in cooperation with the Ukrainian side of the OSCE SMM, provided conditions for the emergency repair work on the power line near the village of Luhanske,” the message stated.

Sappers of the State Emergency Service checked the territory for explosive objects ahead of the repair work.

“Thanks to the quick response of the Ukrainian side, the JCCC in a short time completely restored the power supply to all houses in the village of Luhanske,” it added.

The power line near the village of Luhanske was damaged due to shelling by Russian controlled forces, the report states.
