Ukraine and Serbia strive to reestablish pre-war levels of trade as well as cooperation in different fields.
Dmytro Kuleba wrote this on his X account.
“We discussed ways to expand bilateral trade and return it to pre-war levels. In this context, we agreed to hold the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Serbian Commission for Trade, Economics, Science, and Technology Cooperation since 2013,” Dmytro Kuleba announced.
In Belgrade, Ukrainian Foreign Minister also held a meeting with his Serbian counterpart. They discussed discussed ways to develop states’ bilateral cooperation and EU integration. In addition, Minister Đurić expressed his support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Kuleba is expected to meet with President Aleksandar Vučić and Speaker of Parliament Ana Brnabić.

Serbia has officially condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022, but the country still hasn’t joined international sanctions against Russia and has a status of Russia-friendly state.
