Zelenskyy will attend Munich Security Conference and sign another security deal during visits to Germany and France

On February 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will give a speech on the main stage of the Munich Security Conference, which will be followed by bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the conference.

Zelenskyy’s schedule will include talks with US Vice President Kamala Harris, Czech President Petr Pavel, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and political and business leaders.

Before that, on February 16, Zelenskyy will visit Germany and France to hold negotiations with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and President of France Emmanuel Macron.

According to a statement made by the Élysée Palace, Zelenskyy and Macron will sign a “security guarantees” agreement during Zelenskyy’s visit to Paris. No details on the agreement have been officially revealed yet.

Macron, however, said earlier this year that France was following the model of the deal Ukraine agreed with the United Kingdom not so long ago.

On February 14, a Ukrainian negotiating team led by Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office, held another round of talks with France on a bilateral security deal.
