President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that under any circumstances he would maintain the maximum number of troops necessary for Ukraine to protect its interests.

“We do not believe the Russians that they want something peaceful. We believe in our army. And this will be one of the main guarantees of security. Therefore, in any case, I will keep the maximum number of troops that Ukraine needs to protect its interests.”
Zelenskyy also noted that Ukraine is discussing with its partners the possibility of sending their troops after the end of the war with Russia. According to him, there are currently different views among partners on the number of troops that can be sent to Ukraine.
